Hey everyone !!! I hope all is well in everyones lives tonight !! I am having a splendid evening I have been in real deep thought all day. What I have been thinking about is a song Ive heard before. A secular song, which many of you know I dont listen to much if any secular music. But this song has played over and over in my mind all day and its called " Waiting on the World to change " and I believe it is done by John Meyer. I looked up the lyrics to the song and read them seeing as I only knew the chorus to the song. The lyrics inspired a message that I would like to share with you, but first we must look at the lyrics to get the message : Waiting on the World to change Me and all my friends

Wow ...... This is the first verse to the famous song " Waiting on the world to change", my question I guess is, Is this really the message we believe and rely on ? I put this in a Christian perspective, The first verse espcially because that really portrays the average Christian. It talks about how we are misunderstood and cannot overcome that stigma, and basically like an oh well type of attitude. Why is this our thoughts ? why do we feel that we should wait for the world to change because if we really read Scripture and pay attention we all know that Its only going to get worse. We know that things are getting worse and worse by the day, and yet WE are waiting on the world to change? Who's attitude really needs to change? ours or theirs? We KNOW the TRUTH and THEY do NOT. who really NEEDS that spark that could ignite the fire? why do we persist on waiting for something that wont happen? For the world to change we need to change the world. simple as that. Christians need to get off their butts and start fighting for what we believe in. WE ARE TOO LAZY !!! TOO COMFORTABLE ON THE COUCH TO GET UP OFF OUR DUFFS AND GET OUT AND HELP PEOPLE WHO DESPERATELY NEED THE TRUTH FIND IT !!!! WHY ARE WE LIKE THIS ????? ITS PATHETIC WHEN THE MORMONS AND JEHOVAHS WITNESSES ARE OUT THERE WITNESSING MORE THAN WE ARE !!!! AND THEY ARE LEADING PEOPLE DOWN THE WRONG PATH !!!!!!!! FRIENDS IF ANYTHING IS GOING TO GET DONE BEFORE THE RETURN OF OUR LORD THE TIME IS NOW !!! AND WE NEED TO BE THE ONES LEADING THE WAY !!! Friends, too many people are dying out there without Christ all because they dont have someone to love and care for them the way we should. Someone who will accept them for who they are no matter what and share the love of Jesus with them. Why do we pick and choose who is too sinful to witness to and who is good enough to spend time on? Jesus spent time on a cross for YOU even though you were too sinful and undeserving. Why do we make a judgement of someone just because of how they are now? how do they change if they are not corrected? Thats why we cannot afford to wait for the world to change because the world will NOT change if it doesnt have to. We all need to work on our witnessing. We need to share our Testimony with anyone and everyone all the time. You dont know who is really in need of your testimony. They may be going through that same fire that you went through and you can tell them that Jesus is what pulled you through, at the least that instills that Jesus is an option in their minds. We need to stop being so lazy and get out there and do the Great Comission of our Lord Jesus. In Matthew Chapter 9 verse 37 Jesus is talking to the Disciples and He says this: " The He said to His disciples, The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few." This is a powerful verse because Jesus says that there are plenty of people out there just waiting on a word, waiting for someone to show them who God really is but we are too lazy to go out and harvest these people into becoming growing followers of Christ and soon after, laborers themselves. Friends it is so important that everyone have an opportunity to hear the Gospel. The power lies within us to go out and share what we know, but are we really strong enough to go out and make Disciples like Jesus said for us to do? are we strong enough to have compassion on those who do not know God that we may love them unconditionally so that they may see the Power and Spirit of God inside of us? do we really live the way that we profess with our mouths or are we all hypocrites ? Friends, the greatest gift you could ever give someone is the gift of the knowledge of God. Brothers and Sisters in Christ, I leave you with this final thought to chew on deep in your Soul, let it soak in, We cannot wait for the world to change but labor in the Spirit to change the world. " Dear Lord, Precious God, I pray that You use me. use me for Your Glory and Your will. Father I pray that You use each and everyone of us to make Your Holy name known to all people. Father I thank You for all You have done for us, I ask that You lay Your Mighty Hand upon us this night O God. Thank You I praise Your name Father in Jesus Name I pray, Amen." Friends, dont wait to tell people about the Lord. you dont know how that would touch them and change their lives, just think about when you accepted Christ, you had to be told by someone too, what if they never told you who He was? thats how that other person feels. Please friends, time is running short you never know how much longer we really have left, utilize every moment He gives us !!!
